Your website text editor Print

  • 0

You have a text editor plugin installed on your website that converts normal text into web ready HTML code. This adds heading tags, paragraph tags and link tags to the text that you type in. It's worth bearing this in mind when entering or altering content.

Pasting from Word

If you copy and paste from Word (or another word processor) into your website text editor, it will add loads of unnecessary styling code from Word. For best results, paste from Word into Notepad, and then copy from Notepad into your website control panel.

The text editor will usually have a button that allows you to see the HTML code behind your text - so if you are having any issues with the content not displaying properly then check out the code for anything that could be amiss.
