Once we submit your site, search engines will take a little while before they index your site pages, and will often add some of your pages rather than all of them. If you haven't had any search engine keyword research and search engine optimisation (SEO) done on the site, you will probably not rank well for any keywords. You are up against thousands of other sites and optimisation is required to get good rankings in most cases.
It's very common for people to start Googling themselves after they have a new site built and then email us to ask why they aren't finding their site for whatever search terms they have put in. Again, if you haven't had any SEO work done, ranking well is unlikely to happen. Other companies doing what you do have been there longer and probably had lots of regular SEO work carried out.
If you want to rank well for certain keywords, the first step is to make sure that people are searching using those keywords. If they are, then it's a case of optimising your website pages for these keywords and adding lots of great content for search engines to find. Social media are increasingly playing a part in helping your website rank well. We can help with all of these things - call us for more info.
